Noordpolderziel

Due to it being a fecking nice day my friend Arjan called me up and asked me if I was interested in taking our cameras and go someplace nice. I did, and we decided to go to Noordpolderzijl, one of the northern most places on Dutch mainland.

Noordpolderzijl is usually a touristy-spot, but luckily it was reasonably deserted when we arrived. We first had a drink and apple-pie in the café near the dyke. It was nearly empty, except for an elderly couple that was just leaving, and an old gentleman that looked like he came there everyday.

I can only imagine the memories that must link him to this spot, the sea and the land...

It is not the best place to take pictures. If you've taken one shot, you've pretty much taken them all.

But still, here's another one: late as it is in the season, there where still some flowers here and there:


And as I was wearing my Kittepoes T-shirt, I thought it may be a good place to get some modelling shots. This is one I took of myself, Arjan took some better ones, I may post them at a later date.
